New potential ray owner

jardinis turn into complete psychopaths, it will almost certainly have to be moved from the tank.

the rays you saw could be a variety. if it looked somewhat similar to a motoro, my best guess would be that it was an orbigyni ray, since retics look nothing like a motoro and the orb i bought had the dotting like a motoro.

question for anyone who knows about rays, I have a motoro stingray and I was wondering if anyone knows if Prazipro is okay to use with them. Or any advise, I had angels in there and rainbows, and a tire track ell. I have put them in a hospital tank. I have only left the ray in the 125 gallon tank and have been doing water changes and adding salt. I was told not to add meds coz the rays are sensitive to them, but I was thinking of adding a half dose to at least kill off the larva and flukes that the other fish have. If my other fish heal in the hospital tank, whats to say that they wont get it when I add them back to the main tank. Also does anyone know if Motoro rays can get flukes? Because for some reason the ray doesnt seem like he has nothing whatsoever on him and the plascomous everything else has been infected pretty bad, any advice on this from someones previous experience would be very helpful

look at the medication sticky. prazipro is safe to use with rays, within reason.

A lfs has a bunch of very small rays labeled "teacup" rays. Some of them kind of look like motoros and others don't show many markings. I guess they could be hybrids. I saw some of them kind of doing the "death curl" I have heard about. They wouldn't stay that way but almost to be stretching.

Apparently they are eating ghost shrimp right now. I have black worms I trying to culture. Do these rays seem ok for my 150g?

Stock right now is jardini arowana, 2 10 inch bichirs, clown loaches, flagtail and a florida gar(I may or may not keep).

I don't think I would buy those rays and I don't think I'd put them in that tank...but that's just my opinion.

Get rid of the jar and get a silver or a black aro if you don't have enough space for a silver or a black you don't have enough space for a ray
