Here&There
Movie was ok.... if u already like the franchise. But MAN, they were cuttin & pastin scenes from the original left and right. I understand giving a few nods to the original, but they pretty much recreated whole scenes and lines of dialog. There was a part where a dude realizes something is in the trees at beginning before they really know what's up. He stares at it all intensely, but is the only one that sees something. Then u get the predator prespective of the guy staring back at it. There was a big log deadfall trap. There was a guy who got fed up and hung back to fight a pred with a sword so he could go out like a soldier (just like Billy the Indian from 1st one). I could go on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on.... One liners to plot arcs. It was almost funny. What was funny was seeing Adrian Brody (sp?) all mudded up without shirt on like Arnold was in 1st. Bet u can't guess who looked more like a bada$$. Anyway, bottom line is I will probably buy the bluray, just like every other Pred or Alien movie ever. But unless u r a sucker for this franchise, save your money and rent it on dvd. Rant complete.

I said the same exact thing about pulling scenes from the first one too. The movie just needed to say. "Hey Billy, get me a way out of this hole." "Run!!! Get to the chopper!!!!" The Terminator Movies did exactly the same.

Blockbuster Movies don't have to have the same scenes in their sequels to be great. People watching the movies are already supporting the franchises by going out to see the sequels.

We want more amazing, mind-blowing ideas!!! The predator movies could go on for years, if they were done right. There is so much to be seen from the societies of the predators, rituals, technology, history, etc...

I keep having high expectations and keep being disappointed. Entertained but disappointed.

Im a fan of the series, comes with territory of being a sc-fi nerd, however im in agreeance.

Felt like a 1part stealing continuation, 3parts "Filler" story to something bigger. Although that could be wishful thinking, seeing the gun being handed over at the end of AVP requiem, & compounding that with what storyline they hint at at the end of the predator games, i guess im hopeful.

poor film the lead looked like a 14 year old on roids

his arms were like tennis balls

did anyone notice the preds seemed odly camp ?

Stan Winston is dead. Still rather see guys in costumes than cgi.

Never played any of the pred games. What exactly do they "hint" at?
