You should cut it lengthwise at the 2/5 width mark so that you can show the non-fused neurocranium and dermatocranium since you are teaching a fish bio class.

I think a human skull would be some sick decor, a little unrealistic but good thread.


Maybe put some led in it, so at nite it will glow!

haha well the title is misleading...used it more for the pun than for potential aquarium decor...the only decor i use in my tanks is bogwood and some plants - won't be using skulls, scuba-divers, or castles any time soon!

thanks Amy! really hoping to get more updates in, but lecture 2x a week plus a 4 hour lab (all for biology of fishes) and two research jobs (Shedd Aquarium starts next week) is definitely keeping me busy! we are wrapping up our first of 3 Cuban gar experiments today (starting the second one next week)...so plenty of gar stuff going on!--
