Call up Trop Aquarium and ask them the exact size of their 30 gal. The cardboard is your best bet. Also Nikki from Trop said that as long as the tank wasnt used and you have your reciept, you could bring it back or exchange it. Double check with her though.

Also if you want to see our sumps hit me up. Like I was telling you, everything we learned we learned from people on here but seeing it in person is easier to understand everything. Let me know.
 
QUICK UPDATE


okkk so i got a 40 gal instead (only 40 dollars) lol. doesnt fit into my stand, so i will be placing it beside my tank. my overflow(cps rated at 1500gph - i know thats a bit overkill for my 130 gal, but i do plan on getting a bigger tank, so this 1500 will do me good in the future) pump is around 1310 gph, but with plumbing (around 4 or 5 feet) i should be getting around 1100 or more. i ordered a UV sterilzer last night.

this weekend i plan on starting the plumbing for the overflow and return (should arrive tomorrow) and buying the acrylic sheets to replace my ugly glass covers on my tank.
