weird...Problem sorted, the diy strainers I built were too large, at the time I thought this was a good idea as there were little to no chance of them coming out. This proved true but I wasn't expecting a frog to somehow get through the folded section and set up life in the flowzennzzo;3022344; said:
I removed stainer one and there it was clam as day, frog removed and the strainer put back in the problem went away. I'm now going to have to make new ones just slightly bigger than the hole to stop this in the future. Filters are running again, fish are still feeding well, the larger white ghost seems to be leader, all the little ghosts and the asagis follow it everywhere. The large orange ghost has teamed up with one of the Sturgeon
Plan for the weekend is shut everything down and have a good look inside the filtration system to see what's going on. Before I do this I'm going to purge all the chambers from the bottom tank connectors and see what comes out, that should be pleasent. I'm still not sure that this is all necessary but it'll help me understand what's happening better with a filter system of this scale, after a week. It will also help me plan the maintenance better for the future.
