Most of the time, the tank would look peaceful for a while (giving people the illusion that the mix is working), until somebody turns overnight and starts killing off everybody else. people who have been in this long enough know it's not a matter of if; it's when.

Understood and been there. Me personally i dont bother mixing anymore, 1 cichlid per tank. For me it never works out at some point down the road someone tries to take over. That being said it doesnt mean i should tell everyone that they will have the same outcome . Members here with 500 plus gals had to pull some fish out. So again what works for one may or may not work for another

Great camera work,, you will have to keep us updated,, my zonatus won't live with anything he will attempt to kill what ever I put in the tank and then hide behind his rock when I take what ever fish out,, it looks like I have empty 180 gal most of the time

Hello, zonatus is alone but the other species are all pair. Today is paceful, I will see how he grow, thanks
