New Puffer Tank

Well my puffer died. Not because he was sick or water conditions, but because there was a deadly flaw with my background. He found a whole just big enough to fit into and got stuck over night. We are so close to getting the tank set up that this really sucks, but we might try and save another one. I have double checked the new background and it seems ok, no real small areas to get stuck. Also got the stand made just need the canopy at this point but that can be put on after the tank is up and going.

Ran into an issue, Ive got a small leak in the top left hand corner of the tank. Its a very small leak so I drain it a ways and will let it dry for awhile then reseal it and hope that works.
 
yeah I read that and doing the research for it, but in the mean time also trying to talk the wife out of it.
 
Ok since there wasnt a big rush to get the tank set up any more we got the stand stained.

Its a red mahogany stain and actually goes well with the trim of the tank and looks good with the color of the dresser. Now I just need the canopy but need to still figure that part out.
 
got it all set up and cycled and we found another puffer, luckily not from walmart. Now just have to start changing it to brackish. All thte plants will be moved to our other tank when the new lights show up and a canopy is in the plan for this or next weekend.
