new puppy

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
That's a real shame about the boxer but I suppose these things happen for a reason (you've got a great pup there :D) I was dead set on getting a boxer until we got a shar pei now I'm totally hooked on the breed :screwy:
Prices of dogs are crazy at the min I'm thinking of studding mine soon he's more than ready and a great pedigree bloodline but no idea how to go about sorting it all out paper work etc (were currently looking into it ) I paid a lot for swift but our first shar pei was rescued from a bad breeder at eight weeks he died at the age of two years due to kidney failure , so second time around we shopped around the country for the best breeder / litter we could find and we are more than pleased with our efforts :D
Hope you enjoy your new pup once home you'll have so much fun even if your house gets a little messy lol look forward to seeing update pics on arrival day :D

Ah I remember those trips to go see our swift when he was a pup , the breeder was an hour away from me and we had to wait six weeks to get him , my kids had me driving up every weekend to see him with the rest of his litter :D

Couldn't have done that with my dog, breeder was 7 hours away :D

I'm starting a new puppy class with her tomorrow, to get doggy socialization in a place that is lower risk for parvo. It's been in town lately, even some vaccinated dogs.
I don't want her growing up to be an idiot around other dogs.
She's so sweet.

Beautiful !! Bull Aussie is a cool combo. Sounds like a Rez dog mix :)

haha Rob. yep she fits in pretty good around here ;-)
Downright affordable. and snuck right up on me, just like a bottle of cheap wine !

So ?? Is she home yet ??

So ?? Is she home yet ??
Yep. she was kind of timid and wussy about the other dogs at class :-I
 Our 5lb chihuahua snaps at her for any personal space invasion., & we have encouraged her to restrain from pushy moves toward the chi :uhoh: She really needs to be around more dogs away from home.
But she was very owner-attentive and obedient there today.
I'd rate the trainer as kind of "so-so". OK, but Good Thing it's just a small group of pups.
She didn't even let me get my pups attention before releasing her leash for a recall-to-owner "test of pup/owner bond".
I thought it was flakey, especially in the very first session. the other pups were lined up at the side of the recall stretch, between her and each owner.
Never seen an instructor do that before.

The photo of pup in first post didn't work after forum upgrade. just re-posting that.
