So I bought these about 2 weeks ago have them solo in my 53 gallon with a divider made of acrylic. I had been debating whether to buy these or not and then decided to go for it and paid for them before I could convince myself not to. I regretted it after paying but felt way WAY more better about it when they finally came in. I got these from John (Snookn21) and requested a male and female. I'm assuming the bigger one is the female there both the same length give or take a mm but on has more girth then the other the smaller one tries hiding under the sponge filter I got in there but well is just to big a fish to do so. So without delay here are some pictures of my new fish.

One I assuming is Female

One I assume is Male (First two photo's were taken on auto the last was a diff setting which shows it's colors allot better)

Let me be the first to congratulate you, very nice in deed!! Good luck. Been wanting one of these 7 pointer

Sent from my C6902 using MonsterAquariaNetwork App

I got the 10-11" ones for $275 instead of the 12" for $350. I just could see paying and extra $75 each for an extra inch of fish lol. Also thank you I am very happy with these fish. The bigger one is a mean thing. It has it out for the sponge filter. Always trying to fight it.

You lucked out with snookn21 on the first one. His plecos are hit n' miss. Will need overhead shots to be able to tell rather it's male or female. I would recommend against putting them in a tank with divider, this will only cause more aggression once the two of them met.

They already met when they were first put into the tank. Now they stay at opposite sides of the tank. I'll keep an eye out just encase though thanks for the heads up. Yea I really like the first one I pictured here the second one is cool too though. The second one's fins were more of a yellowish orange color when it first got in. Has gotten more red though.

1st 1 is good looking, love the red. any problems with sunken in stomach or anything?
