Move the heatpad
The Exo Terras are made of polystyrene, same stuff used for insulating houses, practically no heat will be going into the tank like that.
Great critters though!

Will do, i thought that since polystyrene holds heat it would hold the heat for longer?paul112;4658463; said:Move the heatpadThe Exo Terras are made of polystyrene, same stuff used for insulating houses, practically no heat will be going into the tank like that.

Thanks everybody and thanks for explaining!paul112;4659306; said:Polystyrene doesn't absorb heat, it blocks it, it's used in houses to block the warm air inside having contact with the cold brick walls, and thus being absorbedMaybe try putting the stip on the outside of one of the sides, that way you can keep the cool background in the tank?

I think its 1 male 2 females id like to breed them but they are mostly pets for my parents to enjoy reallypaul112;4660548; said:No worries! I see you've got a little group of them, do you know their sexes? Any breeding plans? I've come across them a couple of times and would really like to have a little breeding colony, but I just don't have the time for them at the moment.
