New rainbow trout pictures

Tossing up a pair of new pictures of my trout. However this is the same one, just twice. I have two of them, had them since mid/end of Feburary i think, they have about tripled in size since then. Both fish are about the same size and color, probably 5" give or take. They eat like fools, and arent bothered by the water being kinda warm for them.

Hahah i have caught and eaten so many of those tasty lil buggers in my life. I would love to own some as well. Hmm I wonder if its illegal where im from? I will have to look into this. i wonder if you raised them adulthood if you could turn them into "steelhead" by adding salt? Great pics. Did you buy yours from a hatchery?

I had one in a 100 gallon tank and it did fine all winter and spring, but when summer hit and the water rose to 85F it died.

Nice man i was thinking of doing this with mud trout but i think my oscars might look at it as lunch lol.

Thanks everyone. These fish came from a buddy of mine who owns a hatchery. I got them when they were about a month old and less then 2" long. So they have been kept in captivity their whole lives. The other day the water got up to 74, but a quick change and it was back into the low 60s, they dont seem bothered at all by that. They are much more aggressive when the water temp is cooler.
