Listen to Shadow, hes a man of great wisdom when it comes to many things...;).

Your main thing is gonna be the bioload though. All of those fish are heavy waste producers, and as they grow, so will the amount of waste that they put out. Most of those fish get in the 12" range easily, so your looking at a lot of bioload. Granted they are small, and it seems like its practically impossible to keep all the fish you start out with, you should be aight. Main thing would be to watch the Geos, thats like a RED beacon of distruction flashing in my face right there. Aside from that should work out aight.

Now if that isn't a load, Ha. Definitely though watch the Bio, I am currently running 950 gal on my filtration and over 1200 gal pushing water through powerheads. I don't think the Geos will last after the Viejas get larger, also the Rotkeils could be an issues. Ive a 5" male neet in there also and he is the meanest SOB in there. He kind of tempers the others.
I personally would add them all at once. If you let one or two establish itself then you may have aggo problems later when trying to add one or two.

all fish came in great. along with the original list I have a GT, mono pbass and I am going to experiment with a amph. 'chancho' . I have seen in some tanks if there is a fish that takes charge then that can keep the aggr. down with all the others. but if he starts to bully too much he is out

I just figure since there are multiple vieja species, they will have aggr. towards eachother but if there is a big midas in there he might keep things in order

who knows

alright, I have had a good couple of days and have decided that I am going to get a 33g (96x30x25). is there any reason to think I would run into many problems with this group of fish if I more then doubled from the current 125g?

all fish are doing great, and eating like no tomorrow

96x30x25 = 311 gal. That'll do fine, but I would still worry about the Geos.

sorry was meant to be 300g, its dimensions from glasscages.com . can anyone else suggest a good place to get a large tank, I live in NJ and I know that glasscages delivers to white plains NY

Glass cages will probably be your best bet. That is where am gonna get mine unless I can find a nice used one within driving. It will only cost me 90 bucks shipping to St. Louis and I would pick it up there. The only thing I was told to watch with them is they can be a little sloppy with their sealant sometimes.

haven't gotten it yet, but hope to, i think they have a 90 guarantee on no leaks.
