What usually works for me is to cut up nightcrawlers into a cup. Especially the real fat ones that are juicy. Mix in pellets (usually use sinking cichlid gold) then feed ONLY the pellets after they have soaked for maybe 20-30 min. She will nibble a little and make crumbs, then i have to do a WC. I have tried smelt and shrimp too and she could care less... ha ha
She is too small IMO to starve yet, so by the end of the night i will give her some of the worms that have been soaked in with the pellets. I try not to stuff her to much so she will be even more hungry the next day. I was going to move some of my rays around and put her in with the hystrix pretty soon to see if they will "teach" her.
i usually dump in a mixture of cut up worms and shrimp. b4 u know it they will be swallowing the shrimp along w the worms.
