i did the squirt and dump method this time and they seemed to be calmer and more active....then when i did the 1/2 cup of tank water every 30 min method...from my resent exp. i will use this method from now on...

:thumbsup:Havent gone wrong with Mile's method for a couple years. If your ray's poop is green and clear, it might be a good idea to treat with some prazi and metro once you get these new guys eating. Though metro and prazi don't kill ALL parasites, it's a pretty good start if you (like me) have no clue about ID-ing parasites.

i have prazi pro in the tank now...i did the same method with my pbass and aros i got on the same order they also are fine...i am hoping that my male eatting will stimulate the females...i didn't bother with a qt tank for the females since i had to treat my male anyways...also i figured him being settled in might help the female get settled faster...

the red eye is better, still a little cloudy but getting better...the sunkin eye is out and looking like the other eye, but with a little red.....the fungus is still heavymore so at the tip of the stinger and it appears to be stopping there....all 3 new commers have not eatten yet...

Not a very good idea IMO, but its up to you.

the main reason i didn't do a qt tank is the tank i would have used needs a new top...i am getting it on wed....as for the ray with the issues...it appears that the fungus is going away some and the eyes are getting better...still not eatting...
