ok its not done yet, but CatMan, a buddy of mine builds these bad ass stand/canopies, i bought my 20L gal stand/canopie from him. this is my next purchase, its a 40gal tank. i know this is going to be a ray growout tank because of the footprint. now i need to know the growth rate on motoros, and retics. i can pick up the retics as soon as this thing is up and running which shouldnt be to long. heres the tank, unfinished.

i do believe thats it. i know its a 40breeder, just cant remember the meaurements. its wide and short, thats why i like it. perfect growout for some rays for the 220

with retics make sure your water is clean, warm, and consistent. They'll suit your 220 the best, and get males if you can since they'll stay smaller. Same with motoros as far as sex. They're slightly more tolerant in regards to water conditions and typically easier to get onto prepared foods.
Retics are hit and miss on what they'll eat, but be prepared to spent a lot of money on food either way.
