new ray tank

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
cant wait to see it set up!

i would like to add 1 more female but do you think 3 adult motoros will be ok in there?the tank is 280uk gallons.im not sure about filtration yet ive ordered a eheim pro 3 and i have a 2217 allready.everyone keeps saying a sump is the only way to go with a tank this size but i know sweet fa about them

Depending on the size your getting them at i would think you will atleast be ok for the time being, but not saying you will not have to move them up to a lager setup down the road.

i will be houseing 1M-2F in my 240 and they will be 10" when they come in. and i also have a 7" M but by spring i plan to move them to a pond in my basement :D

where in the Uk did you get the tank from & if you mind roughly how much did it cost? Mate recently got a decent unit from Wharf Aquatics.

i think 3 would be more then fine....

defantly do a w.d .. that tank is beautiful y ruin it with hoses and heaters showing... throw it all in the sump

i totally agree! sump is the way to go!! and a heater in the sump away from your rays is the best thing you can do.

also allowing you for a bigger turnover rate as well. .:D

I'm jealous. Nice new tank.

this is the biggest tank i can possibly have in my house so there will be no more upgrading.i definately agree that heaters and hoses will ruin the look so i will be researching sump tanks as ive never had 1.tank&cabint were £600 from n&d aquatics

thats good price

but defantly use sump..
