thanks man, I realize that they make hell lots of waste, I do daily water changes around 10%, so far so good. I think the one I have is a female, and I'm considering getting the male one around the same size.

nice pick-up. A ray for $33 bucks is a great deal. Around here, they run $100 that size.
Try feeding Talipa also. Will help get some fat on her...
Keep up with waterchanges every 3-4 days, and it will work out just fine
