I added torpedo beach sand today. He seemed fine while I put it in but when I checked in on him about an hour later he was balls to the wall glass surfing and getting the top of his disc out of water to the point where his mouth was getting out of the water. His stomach isn't pink or irritated either. Anyhow he's starting to slime up on the front portion of his disc. Is this something that I should worry about?

They're all good. He's in my aquaponics system with the plants, a canister, and a hob I added from another tank because I wasn't sure how messy he was going to be.
