lol i dont think i'll be allowed anymore snakes now lol so will probably be a horned frog next .

Nice looking snake. I am glad to see that blood pythons are gaining interest in the hobby now. You used to have a really hard time finding them at all (let alone captive bred and healthy). Keep us posted man!



rodents are constantly pooping on and biting my friends that keep them as pets. I think snakes are much better pets but I won't get into it. Feeding them is natural you just have to get over it.

Thanks mate, ive only seen one Blood Python before this just dont seem to be that many people keeping them at the moment.

I dont agree with the ethic's of live feeding animals to snake and its illegal in the UK too, so i only use pre-killed frozen foods.

also, with all your snakes do you try to handle all of them or are they showcase only? i feel like i wouldn't have time to keep all the snakes tame. speaking of that, do you ever have any aggression issues with your carpets? mine hisses like a madman everytime i try to take it outta the cage.

Yup its illegal, i try to handle my snakes everynow and then to keep them tame but i dont think that snakes enjoy lots of handling so i dont stress or bother them. My carpets a big softy and he does enjoy comming out and being handling but he does seem unusually tame.
