That is a beautiful Red Devil. I love Red Devils, they have personality, brains, lots of attitude, and they grow super fast.

that's a pretty red dev.
it needs a barred gf, make nice looking babies.
 
great looking fish! nice tank as well but y the black background i thought some fish lose the color that way? im not bashing just looking for info... i had a reddevil but my new flower horn killed it last night it was just starting to get it bump

i think you will find that most fh keepers find that they get better results if they choose another colour background rather than black. im not even sure if its a myth but i have all the backgrounds of my tanks painted black, i find it makes the colours and fish stand out more especially when taking pics, i dont know of any american cichlids that lose their colour badly due to having a black background.
