i found that on my 125 gallon tank, once i added a second heater
and put them both on max, and only used a single xp4
my midas's head would begin to gain some size.
another thing that i noticed when that would happen was,
i'd only have my lightstrip on during times i'm home after school, til when i go to bed.
so like 5 or 6 hours.
that's what worked for me anyway.
water changes daily might even help a bit.
