New Red Hook Pics

Nice fish! When I bought my redhooks (like xfishpro's) two years ago the lfs gave me a spotted dollar (4 inches) that was recently turned in by a customer. He said that it would do well with my red hooks and needed a home. The red hooks were half the size of the spotted. Now the red hooks are more than twice as big as the spotted one. They do swim well together but you can tell that the spotted one still rules the roost. I have yet to see another one in any fish store. I feed Tetramin cichlid sticks, Tetramin variety algae waffers and ocean nutrition vegi flakes. I tried hikari cichlid exel. I thought it would be the perfect food and it remains the only food they refuse to eat. What are you guys feeding your red hooks?
 
Nice SD's , my redhooks eat everything that's placed in the tank. My larger RH eats Hikari algae wafers , he can almost swallow them whole now. I also use a veggie clip with romaine lettuce, spinach leaves and green seaweed sheets.....GL :popcorn:
 
They eat lettuce, cichlid sticks, cucumber, frozen block for veg. fish. The sticks have been a recent introduction and have given the fish bulk. Even the smaller inhabitants and manage them once they soften up. I have tried grapes and banana, but they do not seem to be as popular.
 
u gotta know that all the plants in those pictures are fake. lol
 
there's so many different fish I want to try and keep and SDs are one of them:)
