New red isletas stud

Here's a few crappy phone pics of my new boy , very interactive guy, around 9".
How big do they get, some say 14" some 10"…?
Sadly my barred male hated him so he is in the 90g rather than the 300... He got a scratch under his eye and I decided it was to risky after a day of them fighting.
I will get some better pictures later

Cheers pal, I'm looking for a female but they are near impossible to find here. The odd fish from a private collection pops up every few years.
As far as I can tell 2009 was the last time anyone imported any and that was from rapps when he had them.
This guy was traded in to a cichlid specialist from a cichlid association apparently.
I need to join the british cichlid association I think...

Great looking - I tend to hear more on the 10" than 14" size for these guys, but have never kept one myself - I'm jealous

Thanks people, yeah well 10" is better as he is in a 4ft 90g so that would suffice for him I guess.
I will get more pics when I can grab some time.
