He is a good fish, totally ignores growouts/smaller fish so that's good as a hospital/growout tank with him in it. Figured the pirahna makes the tank useless for that.

Update time, he is doing great and becoming a proper wet pet, one of my favourite fish now.

Recently added a little xilo I'm hopeful is female but he looks pretty angry with her presence. She has some wood to hide under.

Cheers pal, love this fish.... Not much comes close to a Midas for a wet pet imo, I must have kept two dozen of the years and he is in my top 3, I sold on my rapps gold bar to keep this guy.
