Thanks, the 2nd one is eating and seems fine so I think he should recover. Just gotta keep a close eye on him.

make sure to keep your water extra clean and salt it well at least 1 tablespoon per 10 gallon. you could go as much as i teaspoon per gallon if you don't have plecos or other scaless fish with him. he could get body fungus. those scales won't make a 100% recovery imo. i had a fish get beat bad and she still is missing scales in that area 4 months later. that is a nasty wound
