6 inch is about the max for these guys, you would be lucky to get another inch out of him. be very weary of these guys leaping ability. I have lost more than a few due to jumping through tiny spaces.

I have the top of the tank secured like fort knox. The front panel is well weighed down, the middle section and there are weighed down decorations shoved into every hole in the back. There were definitely a lot of situations where he could have easily knocked off the lid if it wasn't really weighed down.
