Little update. Got water in the tank around a week ago. Decided against using AI hydra lights so I sold them and went with 3 Ecotech radion G4’s. I added a WXM module to the apex to control the lights and pumps as well as an Apex smart ATO

I keep telling myself I don't need a controller but that apex is very appealing. Look forward to the pics.
 
I had a reefkeeper and loved it. Controllers are deffinately the way to go if dosing or running a calcium reactor or both! Mine ran all that stuff. I had a liquid mix I used to feed corals in a small fridge that I "modified". I used the rk to turn a pump on in the food bin to mix it then it turned on the dosing pump to feed while turning off the return pump and skimmer to stop it from being lost. Awesome piece of hardware.

I can't find a legit reef keeper. It looks like they were discontinued
