Welcome to MonsterFishKeepers.com

The members of this forum have come together to share our knowledge and experiences of fish keeping. We want to answer your questions, offer advice and fill the galleries with pictures of the fish we have all grown to love.

We are a unique community of Fish Keepers who seriously take our hobby to extremes and the NEXT level. Hopefully, through this site and discussion forums we can encourage the next generation of Monster Fish Keepers to have the same passion and love we have for the hobby and our Monster Fish .

Amazing. I wonder if they'll be different species that are adapted to the murk?

Cool find. Hope any oil exploration won't ruin it!

I want an Amazon reef tank. I have reefs near where I live in New York - coldwater and nonphotosynthetic, but reefs. Noone talks about them either. :( Can't wait to see pics of this one

Wonder if they will stop the drilling of the oil or just say screw the reef.

From the article it sounds impressive the reef managed to survive under those conditions, although im also guessing the sediment must be providing a lot of nutrients for them...

Would have been nice to see some pics of the reef and hopefully it wont slowly die out like the Great Barrier Reef in Oz...

Pretty neat, hopeful conservation efforts will be successful. I hate to the the oil companies ruin it.
