New Rocks for my Cichlids

Breeding is not the intention, but I've seen my share of mating rituals with the mainganos....fry is inevitable. These guys are all rock dwelling cichlids (Mbuna) and establish their territory and safe-havens within all these caves.

As far as substrate, I'm using aragonite (ground up coral). It's a little bit on the steep side, but it certainly helps keep the water on the hard side for these little guys.

Many have said you can overstock, whether that is true or not, I'm fine with the number I have (had I went all Labidochromus, that would be a different story, but the Mainganos over time will get more agressive and will need to be moved.)

I love the way the lava rocks look in there...especially against the sand as well as the yellow labs.
