Here's an update from today. In the first picture my tank was bare bottom and all my fish were dull and white. I added red with some black sand and now all my dish have brilliant colors. It's amazing how fish can change colors like that to blend in to their environment.

Yup, he is in good hands. I had a Congicus before and it didn't eat that much. This guy is very active and is a pig! Going to get huge.

I put a thin layer of sand on the complete bottom but the bichirs like to move it around in this one side
