A regular columbian boa and a very nice one! They are awesome snakes you will have fun with her :)

That's a very nice RTB..

Thanks guys, I was thinking colombian too but wasn't positive..........She's my second so far and I must say probably my favorite snake........I'll try to get new pics up today or tommorow..........

Most of them do look the same. Size is one of the only ways to tell, Now that being said, peruvain and surinams are generally more colorful than the normal colombians. Then you have the argentines they are black and grey instead of tan and red. Mexicans are smaller then colombians but look very similar. If you bought it at hamburg its a common colobian i hope you didnt pay more for her than any normal boa.

Nice BCI!!

I disagree with the above post that size is the only way to tell. One look at the saddles on a particular snake and you almost know instantly if its a Suri, Guyana. Of course with all the inbreeding that can be hard to tell sometimes as well, but then there is saddle count, head shape....you get the idea.

I have seen 2 year old BCI females that were pushing 7 feet and ten year old male Suri's that were pushing 6 feet so I dont see how one can tell the difference by size alone.

si_UEw400_SurinamDS.jpgwell the first one says its a purivian, then Columbian, and sirunam. Why wouldnt spell check help me here, lol.I agree with walls on patterns and such.Ive seen some putivians and they are truley stunning but i love my columbian and thats that, lol.:)

Her pattern is closest to the colombian you posted Jason.....Her brown patches are pretty much solid squares all the way down her back with perfect circles in the middle of them, except for close to her head and tail.....I'm just guessing she's a colombian like you guys said.......
