i got a new RTC yesterday about 1 1/2" for $2.50. he is housed on my 15G grow out, my question is what should i feed him at that size? will feeders do? he is always hiding underneath the driftwood.

i know they get huge, he is so small right now and dont seem to be eating. small not thin but rather short in terms of length. my friends got a pond where he will be evntually placed, i also got a 180G tank after he's done with the growout.
hikari sinking carnivore pellets are good, he's just shy right now, he'll soon start swiming to the top for food.
i've got guppies with em, hope he'll soon grab some, ive tried sinking pellets but he just ignores them.
