Damn all my girlfriend knows is she like the big one with the orange tail (Green Terror) lol I guess you guys got a good setup lol. But I was thinking about doing an indoor pond but I honestly dont know if I would like not being able see them swim and what not. But I think it would be really cool if I put the type of money I wanted into it.

LOL thx. The pond will be outside, and will be the home for him, and my ID shark, but I do still want my giraffe cat. Thats why I am torn too. I want to see them still, but I know a pond is a must. That's not negotiable. (your gf could learn too! some of our dates consist of spending a saturday soley going to fish stores..... "just to see" then i spend hours playing in my tanks. ) One day I will swim with my fish..... one day...

Ah, the fish store dates. Those are really fun and it is great time together, but we found they were getting really expensive. :D We would end up spending like 6-8 hours driving all over SoCal to different fish stores and then come home and have to acclimate and shuffle everyone. And then you end up getting to sit and watch you new fishies swim around and hopefully eat. Those are great days. It's so fun to hear we're not the only crazy fish couple out there. :)

Also, I have a giraffe cat and a dwarf giraffe cat. Definitely cool cats.

lol, you are definately not crazy. Thankfully we both are pretty good at saying no. I had to tell him no on a TSN since he said yes to my giraffe already.... hehe. We were on one of our "dates" last weekend and I was in one section and he came and grabbed me and drug me over to their in wall tank, ( which I already adore since it is mainly (was mainly) Frontosa the size of my head ! )I only remember him saying " your gonna $hit your self".. Then I was standing eye to eye with a 4 ft giraffe cat. He had about 4 other 1-2 ft giraffes surrounding him. It was like a tease. We don't have them really here for sale. I was done shopping after that. I stood there for about a half hour admiring him. He just got traded in, and was pretty nicked up from transport. But sooooo beautiful. I have pics on the cam at home. i will try to upload those. Or go up and take some more pics of him lol :hitting:

Wow, awesome. So is the big guy coming home? :)

Thats cool. I had a RTC that I traded to a LFS here that I only went to once and I regret it. He was really beautiful. He's still at that LFS but they call him "one eye" now:(.

Oh, how I wish. The store is keeping him :( I wouldn't have the room for him right now, unless I convinced my mom to put him in her pond....lol. She wouldn't know what to do.

Thats sux dude! I thought one of my rescue Mbuna (who was our fave)was picking on the other fish, so I yanked him out and gingerly took him to the store and traded him in. Bought a loach. Went home. Well, it wasn't him. It was some other jerk fish. So I felt bad, but they were closed, and I couldn't make it back till the following weekend due to my work schedule conflicting with their hours. I came back and there was Blue chilling in the little tank. :( I bought him back and took him home. Why did you trade him?

He was getting big way faster then I expected and I was sick of having to hand feed my other fish so they could eat too.D.
