Speaking about the growth rate of RTC. I got a 2" one on Dec 23rd 2006. It outgrew the 65G in less than a month. I then moved it to a 180G. After it stayed there for another month, he reached the size that was compatible with my 14"+ cichlids, he was moved into the 1000G.
As of today, 3 months and 10 days after the purchase, it has reached the size of 16", a 14" gain in length.
After he reached 10", I only feed him once every other day, I only feed him frozen Makerels/Sardines. His growth rate remains the same.
