thanks everyone....is this weird for a silver arow but i just found out that he lets me pat him like a dog and stroke his body...he doesnt even run away just carries on as if nothing is happening..can any of u do this???

oh i dont pat him that much....just a little bit to experiment...hes awesome...even swims right up to me all the time.

Some arowanas allow their owners to do that. i know some who can pet the aro and have it swim around their hands like a cat looking for affection. you can say your new arow loves its new home and is settling in well by its reactions.
