A new aquatics shop opened up near me and had been making me want to set up a new salt tank for the past few months. I also figured since I do tank maintenance/aquascaping for others it couldn’t hurt to get some more salt experience. Being me, though, I wasn’t interested in starting super small but didn’t want to pull my 240 out of storage just yet. So, I’ve been cycling a 100g Uniquarium I’ve been fixing up and building a stand for.

Finally went by the shop today and found my first inhabitant! he’s about 1.75” and one of the cutest and most “bubbly” fish I’ve ever owned. He already eats from my hand and will follow my finger around in the water. He’ll also play peek-a-boo with me. Real excited to start growing him out and have monster peacock bass and monster sea bass! ?

I mean why not?! haha. My fianće and I were throwing some out there but they were all equally as cliché. We said them all haha, Snowball, Dotty, etc. Eventually I wanted to go with "Blizz" but she has been very adamant so far that we call him.. "Moo Moo" so if anyone can give me a better name that'll help convince her not to call him Moo Moo Im very up for it :grinyes:

How bout Domino? Still that a similar sound to Moo Moo ?

Man, that is one of the fish that originally got me interested in saltwater. It’s fantastic seeing it being kept by someone on this site. Definitely let me know how it goes with him will ya? I want to keep one some day.
