sweet tank. whattcha pay for it???

I spent $500 for tank and stand plus plumbing parts, tank is around 210 gallons so I’m very happy with the deal. Stand is in good shape along with the tank. I might do like a kitchen backsplash along the stand for a stone look. They had it wrapped around with a stone tank backpaper that looked pretty nice so I’ll take it to the next level

Now that's a good deal.

I think that's pretty cool. would u be looking at the rays from the sides or from the top? like how high up is the stand/

Stand is three feet tall and the tank is a foot high so in all will be looking down if your standing but I’m sure if you sit down by the tank you’ll get a side view as well

I know a few girls at my school that would be about eye level with the tank lol, they're pretty short.

Oddball Oddball summarizing thread 7’x4’x1’ tank, wanting to do either freshwater rays or blue spotted ray, horn shark or California ray in salt. Wondering which fresh species of ray I can keep, Is the 1 foot depth an issue? Overflow center 20” clearance on each side. Tank is around 210 gallons. Thank you for help in advanced.

I know that a blue spotted is an incredibly hard SW species to keep, not for beginners.

The tank seems huge at the moment but the center overflow and low height will not work for most ray species beyond the pup stage.

I haven’t kept any wallacei (formerly hystrix) but know they stay small and a pair may work. You can also have a look into mini marble motoros, though some will disagree that they are truly mini. Just do your best to avoid inexpensive brown hybrids. They seem like a deal but you’ll spend a ton of money in a short period of time keeping up with their growth.

Lastly keep in mind the amount of waste rays produce is off the charts. The lesser the gallons to dilute said waste, the larger the swings in water quality. Makes tank mates really hard to keep alive long term.

Good luck!
