new senegal with old senny, advice please

i have a 3" senny in a ten gallon and i just bought a second one today. he/she is about the same size just a little smaller, an inch at the most. id like to put them both in the same tank to grow them out. is there anything i should know about how to do this or should i just stick the second one in there and he'll be fine. should i rearrange the decorations a bit to disrupt any territory lines the other one might have? haw about a water change?

i also added a new sen in with another but actually i moved 10 sens in with him today so i think he was overwhelmed.

ok Jude, my first senegal, nipped at him a bit but things seemed to have calmed down and now they both are exploring. is this normal?

ok so should i just leave the new one in there and get up in the morning and check on them or should i try and do this when i can watch them all afternoon? i just took the new sen out and im trying to figure out if should put him back in there or put him in my community tank for the night and try this acclimation thing again tomarrow when i have time to watch them.

you dont want to keep moving a small senegal around, in my experience they are very tough to get acclimated. if he is in the community tank and is safe, i think you should let him stay there for a little while

i would do this when you can keep an eye out or maybe swap and put the original one back in tomorrow?
