staple, hikari sinking carnivore(little cheaper than massivore, although it's a good treat) Other than that, bay scallops and (earthworms this time of year) Bloodworms are great at that size IMO though. How many babies did you get?

Thanks .. as I venture more in the poly subforum I'm finding I'm falling in love with the ornate....
I've wanted to get one for awhile but don't want to try putting a little baby in any of my tanks with the fish I have. No room for another grow out tank.
When my 220 goes up I was getting a ornate and a senegal for it along with whatever else there is.
give them a couple weeks, they should get over their skittishness. My senegal will follow my 2 year old as she moves around the tank. He pays more attention to her than me, the one who feeds him. lol
