nice mate, cycled really quick?

Thanks ale, used a lot of mature media to help it and all sludge out of my fx5s from the other tank to get it working quickly. Fingers crossed but all working well so far.

Hi martin,

very nice BD Leopoldi and setup.
The sand look quite fine-grained, is this true?

Regards
Stefan

Hi Stefan, hope all's well.

Yes the sand is very soft and fine grained, Alan
introduced me to it. Great stuff and doesn't stick to
the rays. The BD loves to move it all over the place

Hi Martin,

everything is very well, thanks. I am just a little bit more busy then usual, because of my newborn son and a lot of trouble at work.

If the sand does not stick on the rays, it should be ok. Does the sand find a way into the filter  that has been my problem, when using such fine sand.

By the way, good luck with Real ;)

Regards
Stefan

Congrats on your new son, gonna need a lot of luck with Real but should
be a nice trip to Madrid anyway, can't wait!

The sand is staying out of the filter at the moment, have got a Vortech
MP60 on the tank to add flow and originally I had it mounted about a 1/3 of the way up the side of tank and it moved all the sand to the other half of the tank but now I've adjusted it to halfway up the tank it is fine.
