This is my 40 gallon tank I'm almost done setting up for my cats. Background is slate I got from out at my parents place, so are most of the hardscape rocks. It's got a internal sump (150 gph pump) and a hob made for a 40. I'll be using pool filter sand for substrate as i use this in all my tanks except one (will be switched soon ). I'll probably be putting java fern and some of my anubias frazeli in as well. They'll end up in bigger and better sometime next year but i think this will do for now. Any thoughts or suggestions? Also rescued this bullhead and Oscar a few days ago, now in my 125 with my 13" Oscar and 14" pleco.

I love sun cats and 40 breeders! Can't wait to see this up and running

The block and brick work looks surprisingly fitting and almost pleasing to an eye.

Oh and got donated a 60 gallon tank and a pair of 10 gallon tanks today. Thinking about using the front and back panels on the 10s to make a 20 x 20 x 12 cube breeder for my convict pair. Any thoughts?

The 40 is up and running. A little cloudy still and I've yet to figure out what my permanent lighting is, but the fish are happy. Picked this pretty yellow Dalmatian Molly up a few days ago, she's in my wife's 55 community tank. Also got some good shots of bullhead today. His curiosity towards everything is awesome. He'll follow other fish, chew bricks, plays in the pothos roots, and makes sure he's front and center when he sees/hears me coming. Anyways, Sorry for rambling, lol, any thoughts on the scape for the 40, it'll have a few anubius and java fern next chance I have to pick some. Any thoughts on what to do with two ten gallons to make a new tank for my convict pair?
