I love the look of the tank it looks awsome! But the water seems quite hazy! Is the pictures just really grainy or do you have a bacterial bloom going on? Whats the filtration like for the tank?
Yea, I was wondering did you catch the fishes since you are from Brazil? I wished I lived in South America, I can get my own fishes..
I bought all of them! It isn't so easy to catch them, there are laws, season, distances (Brazil is big as USA without alaska), trips here are very expensive, so it's easier to buy them.
The water is hazy beacause I change everything in the tank and don't have time to wait the filter (ehein canister 2217) to work. The substrate is basalt.
I don't have pics from the ponds, they are at the farm, but they don't have anything special, only the fishes.
A sad moment: my ornate poly died last night, she pulled out the tank and I came across her in the middle of the room this morning!
To fatten the arapaima I gave them this today:
