  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I really appreciate all the comments! :)

Should be atleast one smoothhound in the pool today.
Maybe two.

By the way, I added a 4" Banded Rudderfish last night to the pool. This morning, it has disappeared. Anyone think the snapper would have eaten it?

(not my pic)

How big is the snapper, and what species, the yellow backed? If you are thinking of the yellow back I highly doubt it, the eat plankton and smaller stuff I am pretty sure.

A small dig a few pages bck gives us 3 Yellow Back Snappers at 10-12" and 1 Blue line snapper at 4".

Nope, deffo not the snappers.

What about the grunt?
So if they didnt eat it, it didnt jump out, its not stuck in the pump (I HOPE!). Where did it go ?? hahah its a mystery.

And yes, the snapper are about a foot. I feed them silversides and krill.

The grunt maybe, it's the only one with a mouth large enough, but I doubt it could have fully swallowed it up within one night.

Maybe the grunt... Do you have any dogs or cats? Ifit jumped out the dog or cat couldve gotten it..... Then again its notlikelythat dogs or catswould be able toaccess your pond...
I think it was the grunt.
