Congratulations. So how long is it? What size tank is it in now? and could you please post some pics. I would really like to see some pics of him/her. Is it male or female? Do you know how to sex it? If not it's very easy. If it is male there will be two appendages extending from the inside of the anal fins called claspers pointing back towards the tail and if it's a female there wont be any appendages, just the anal fins.

ok pics are here i put him in a smaller tank right now till i get my long siny urchin out of his tank.
Oh, WOW! very pretty. Well as far as feeding is concerned you should find out how old it is first. It should not be feed unless it is over 2 weeks old or you can cause damage. One way to tell if it is past the 2 week stage is that it will sometimes leave the sandy bottom and swim through the tank for a few seconds insted of just crawling around all the time. If you do know it is over two weeks I still wouldn't offer food for about 2 days to give lots of time to settle in without being bothered. They can go weeks and weeks without food so don't worrie about it.

I would say that you should be able to feed it any time(within the next day or so), especially since coral cats hatch out at about 4". If I recall you've said it's already about 5", so it's likely already been eating on it's own. But as Justin stated - it wouldn't hurt to double check the shark's age.
The shark looks to be in good health - so just check to see if it swims a little, may be talk to the LFS, and see about when it hatched - if they know.

k thanx i wait a couple days and offer it some squid if im cofterble thats it is old enough because i really want this to work
