ok here whats left from last order...........

the larger boxes each contain 5each 2.2 pound bags.....

lake smelt is 5 kg per box....i get 15 boxes per order from a wholesaler....shrimp is also now from the same source raw headless shelled.....yummieeeeee

prime is in 20 l jugs ( 5 gallons)....... azoo vitamins great for pimas and aros

cant wait for monstervoire :headbang2:headbang2:headbang2:headbang2

If you are going thru 5 gallons of prime you may want to look into Seachem's Safe. It's the dry version of Prime. Cost a fraction of Prime and if you are getting Prime shipped to your address, you get another cost saving since Seachem's Safe is dry and you don't pay for the weight/volume of the water that goes with Prime.

thanks........the problem is safe has no stabilizers and should be used when mixed.........i dilute the prime with water and the use a dosmatic pump to mix the correct ratio,,,,,one batch goes about 4 days,,,,

so i was told............any thoughts are most welcome

That's true.

However you can always mix just enough of the powder for each use and store Safe dry. That way you won't need any stabilizers.

Actually I used to order Safe in the 250 grams bottle and add two liters of distilled water to get the equivalent of the 2 liter Prime bottle at 1/3 of the cost. That mix lasts many months for me with no apparent destabilizing negative effect on the efficacy of the mix.

Now I just get Safe in 1 kilo bottles and measure just enough of the powder to treat tap water in 50 gallon drums and do water change from the 50 gallon drums. I use the tiny plastic measuring spoon that came with the 250 grams bottle. Each tiny spoonful treats 20 gallons of tap with up to 1 ppm of chlorine, up to 4 ppm of chloramine, and up to 1 ppm of ammonia.
