I recently sold my shoal of silver dollars and i want a new shoaling fish it must: be colourful, between 6 inches and 1ft, tolerate water ph 6 and temp 28 degrees, br peacfull/semi aggressive, able to breed in captivity, be happy in a 140 gallon tank. What do you think is my best option?

How many did you have in your previous shoal? What kind? Any pics?

I think you really just got rid of your best option. There are some great looking silver dollars out there. You should look into the different varieties. ;)

:iagree:

personally my favourite with big fish, TFBarbs get to big and bulky IMO me and take away from the show fish...

IMO Red Hooks or the black stripe/spot Red Hooks are pretty colorful...

I had 6 of the standard ones not red hooks or anything, I just wanted something not disc shaped:)

i was going to suggest discus, but clearly they are disc shaped.

Idk i'd go with piranah if legal or you could go with cichlids like convicts or africans
