Hmm. Clown Loaches sound like a good option, and you'll be fish forum famous if you can get them to breed.
 
I might get some more loaches all thats in that tank at the moment is 7 clowns and a breeding pair of angels, i was eying up 3 1ft clowns in an lfs the other day but they were £160 for the three:0

id say 6 for a 55g.. so anywhere from 12 - 18 in your 150 depending on if you're going to have other fish in there or not
 
Red bellies or exodons would be nice....a few different types of pygos could be pretty colorful. Exodons don't get that big, but they are a fun fish to have around.
 
A good option would be either the roselines or a large group of bala's if you have a large tank.
