ya every flowerhorn i order from julie gets the wite poop & dies diddnt kno about the epson salt trick ive placed 3 orders i have 1 vn dragon & a thia silk left out of 3 orders sux cause they were nice fish but not sure i will be placing another order again
Interesting. I though most had white poop because they starved them before shipment. No food during transit, again no food landed in states. Then finally a bite when they reach your tank. Perhaps up to a week or 1 starved. i Believe to keep ammonia down during shipment, no poop. Skinny and shrunk kok. Stomach lining perhaps? Mind you I do the quarantining anyhow and dewormer.
I received my flowerhorn thru her and have no issues.

Ya white poop after shipment almost never has to do with starvation IME, it is hex and you can tell by the fact that its very long and thin, and that they hold it for a while and dont eat.
You got lucky with your viper from Julie, but im glad this guy was cured the natural way with epsom salt and now eats like a pig.
Sad to say though, im running out of tank space and I may not be able to take care of this guy long term. Even though he is a short body and doesn't need much space, I want him to have more than just a 20g long so im probably gona post him up for sale.

Lil' humpy update
this guys is really growing on me. he is super Interactive; chases my finger and jumps out for his NLS. best of all, he is healthy and finally looking like a SRD!
