Thanks. The plants are some type of Anubias I got from petsmart. One of them gets kinda uprooted sometimes when it's hit by a fish because it's not rooted real strongly into the wood. They don't intentionally root it up though. On a side note, if anyone is having trouble with algae in their tank and growing relentlessly on their plants, I strongly suggest they get a flagtail. Best algae eater I've ever had.

Thanks! I'm not sure exactly how big he is. I'm guessing not more than an inch bigger than when I got him from you. For a while, he wouldn't touch Massivore. One hungry night, he grabbed one, and he loved them. He ate like probably 20 that first time. Hopefully I can start bulking him up.

Yeah, I love the Tig. That's the best pic I've gotten of him because he always hangs out behind the driftwood. The Mega is getting too big for his hiding spot, so hopefully he will come out of hiding soon.

I haven't lost the Azul. I think he's perfectly healthy other than being completely blind. It's kinda weird that he acts completely blind, because one eye looks normal. He just lay on the bottom hardly moving because he can't see. He moves around and actively searches out tilapia when I feed, and he still manages to eat every time. I don't know what to do with him. Because of his state, I wouldn't miss him, but because he acts otherwise healthy (or at least stable) I wouldn't want to euthanize him. I don't know who would want a blind Azul from me.

Hey bud I love the cichla and gars. I used to have a 18" spotted gar with the big tems and monos when I had them. They made an awesome combo and the gar was always in the feeding action.
