you know, I miss the days when Animal Planet had knowledgeable shows and not just propaganda slanted towards banning exotics. All that I see on that channel now is either some dog or cat show or some show about how scary and nasty exotics are...

I like AP and admit watch that tabloid trash Fatal attractions series but like everyone here take it for what its worth but it does scare lots of people.

Which is why I have never had a neighbor know that I keep kingsnakes even turtles.
The invasive reptile episode was also absurd . Read that 9 out of 10 chipped pythons died during cold spell but overall they think more died but just so happen some chipped snakes found a warm area.
Have you heard anything?

I already mentioned ratings which is what television programs live or die on.Some viewers like these types of shows and some don't but the channel will show what brings them the numbers.

Yes that is true. One of dirty jobs most rated programs was the Reptile exhibit place and alligator/snapping turtle cleaning enclosure .

I saw it. Don't have any real input though. I haven't owned reptiles in 4 years now. Seemed very tabloidish but ratings are important I guess....
